One of the ambitious schemes of the central government, under the Prime Minister Surya Ghar -free power scheme, consumers are provided free of electricity to consumers in Bagaha region in Bihar. The main purpose of this scheme is to connect rural and urban houses with a sun scheme. Under this scheme, the government also provides financial aid to consumers on the installation of solar panels. This subsidy is transferred directly to the consumer bank accounts, reducing the burden on their pockets. Consumers must apply online to utilize the scheme. After the application is approved, solar panels are purchased by the government’s authorized and registered sellers. The main advantage of installing solar panels by sellers is that the seller is responsible for the supply, installation and implementation of the panel and all the equipment associated with it. It also relieves consumers of technical complications and can easily use solar energy in their homes. The government has also made it clear that only consumers will gain the benefit of subsidy that solar panels will buy from government -registered sellers. In addition, sellers are also providing information and guidance related to the scheme related to consumers from time to time. Madhavendra Pandey, a farmer by profession and self -activity, said he used the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana, who made him self -sufficient in electricity. He said that when we got information about Prime Minister Surya Ghar Yojana via newspapers, television and social media, we applied online. After the application, three-four sellers approached us. A registered seller has informed us that the scheme should only be used from the registered seller. We did the same. Under this scheme we get electricity through solar panels. In addition, the additional electricity produced goes to the department, which reduces the burden on the electricity department. He said that we felt earlier every month, when the electricity bill came, we did not spend as much, but the account came more. Now, however, this problem is over. We have become completely sufficient in terms of electricity. He said that the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana is an ambitious scheme, not only for us, but also to make the whole country self -sufficient for electricity. All the schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are very useful to the public. If this plan was not there, we would have to spend more for electricity. Now our money is saved and our life has become easier.
