Jakarta – Jakarta -Governor Pramono Anung with the Governor of Banten, Andra Soni, inaugurated the Pesanggrahan Water Treatment Plant (IPA). This facility is part of an attempt to expand the coverage of clean water services in Jakarta and the environment. He is optimistic that the number can penetrate to the 80%level until the end of 2025. “Water for Jakarta is something very important. Today I am very happy, because Pesanggrahan Nature Sciences can be operated to serve the community. We target, at the end of the year, clean water coverage can reach 80%,” Pramono said. Pesanggrahan IPA has a production capacity of 750 liters per second. This installation was supported by raw water sources of the Pesanggrahan River that crossed the Banten region. Clean water from this facility will be distributed to about 45,000 home connections, including 10 towns in 3 sub -districts. Pramono emphasized, the construction of the new natural sciences is not only for the needs of Jakarta residents, but will also benefit the community in South Tangerang, Banten.
