RJD MLA Ritlal Yadav and three of his nearest co -workers surrendered into the Danapur Court in extortion case

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA Ritlal Yadav and three of his nearest co -workers surrendered in a Bihar Danapur Court on Thursday in a case of extortion in Patna. Police have inundated several places associated with Yadav and his closest collaborators as part of their investigation. Yadav is the current MLA of Danapur Assembly seat. Earlier on April 11, after registering a fir against Yadav and five others on the basis of a complaint of a Patna builder, searches were offered in 11 places in Danapur and other areas of the capital. During the search operation, police also recovered more than Rs 10 Lakh cash, checks worth Rs 77 lakh, six vacant checks, sale of assets and 14 deeds related to the purchase and 17 checkbooks. What did the police say? Police said the complainant claimed he had received a call from the MLA Close -co -employees over the past few days to kill extortion and life. It is also alleged that the accused has forged some documents related to the property. He said the complainant built an apartment block in the Khagaul area in Patna. Sharat Rs, Superintendent of Police (Patna West), said with the media that after the fir was registered and a warrant from the appropriate court, the police teams in Danapur, as well as their colleagues associated with their employees, attacked. Meanwhile, MLA’s attorney Safdar Hayat said that Yadav did not intend to avoid the law and surrendered as soon as he became acquainted with the case. Hayat said: “It is said that a builder has falsely accused him of recovering with violence. Once he knows that the police are weakening, he voluntarily surrendered to the court with the other accused.” The lawyer further said that no bail petition has been filed yet, but in the coming days a petition may be submitted. He said, “Maybe we will submit a bail petition in a day or two.” He said that the allegations are unfounded and that it is not a case of extortion. Share this story -tags
