Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal appealed to Sikhs across the world to recognize and defeat the deep conspiracy to gain control of Sikh religious institutions and render the Khalsa Panth leaderless. Remove Ads Read Only News Sukhbir addressed a seminar organized by SGPC on the 350th martyrdom day of the ninth Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji in New Delhi on Saturday. He said that today the Khalsa Panth is facing unprecedented ideological and political attack. Powerful elements in the country are pursuing a strategy to take control of the three supreme religious political bodies of the Sikhs, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, SGPC and Shiromani Akali Dal, by attracting opportunistic traitors within the community and sponsoring their own social and media campaigns to defame the Akali Dal and mislead the Sikh public. These anti-Sikh conspiracies have already succeeded in capturing our religious places including our holy thrones outside Punjab. Now their eyes are fixed on our highest religious places Sri Harmandir Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The conspirators know that they can only succeed in this conspiracy by installing their henchmen to take over Sikhism by removing the elected representatives of the Sikhs. They have already succeeded in Delhi, Haryana and Maharashtra, where Sikh religious places are now under the direct control of non-Sikh governments. In this seminar, Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib S. Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj, SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami, Delhi Akali Dal President Paramjit Singh Sarna and Manjit Singh GK also expressed their views.
