The water level was recorded at 205.41 meters on Wednesday night at 10pm, while the danger mark is 205.33 meters. The Delhi government has issued a warning for low -lying areas. The Central Water Commission (CWC) issued a warning about the water level of Yamuna. The commission’s mutbic, in the next 2 to 3 days, the water level of the Yamuna River could rise in the ‘serious flood’ category. The district administration set up 100 relief camps at 100 Reliefkamp Mayur Vihar Phase-1 in Mayur Vihar. Medical facilities, food and shelter have been arranged in these camps. Mobile medical units have also been deployed so that sick people can receive treatment immediately. Dr Asif Khan said serious patients were sent to the hospital by ambulance. The situation is more serious in Noida and surrounding immersion areas. Thousands of Bigha crops are under water here. Many farmers and laborers are forced to stay on the street by making slums. More than 100 families live in temporary tents against sector-168. Villagers say the water suddenly entered the midnight and that they couldn’t even remove the stuff. The district administration is constantly patrolling. Officials said the people living in the immersion go to safe places immediately. Alternative arrangements are also being made to save cow and livestock. The administration warned all the departments to avoid the horrific situation like last year like last year.
