Apart from Paan and Mango, another famous agricultural product from Varanasi, Bhanta (Brinjal) of Ramnagar, also received GI certification. The ‘Adamachini Rice’ (rice) of the neighboring Chandauli district was associated with the GI club a month ago. The inclusion of these new items in the GI club will significantly increase the Agricultural and Garden Building sectors of Varanasi. According to the GI register, 33 products contain 10 new certified goods from UP, Aligarh Tala, Bakharia Brass Tenensils, Banda Shajar Patra Shilp, Nagina Wood Craft, Pratapgarh’s Amla, Hathras or Hathras, Lame Mango or Banaras, Bhanta of Ramnagar. , Muzaffarnagar Jaggery and Banarasi leaves are included.
