The fire spread quickly due to a powdery chemical lying on the dump. The fire brigade team that reached the spot tried to control the fire but failed. The fire brigade also tried to suppress the chemical by digging soil with the help of JCB, but the fire could not be controlled. Even after 24 hours, the fire burns intermittently. It was said that a truck driver dumped this chemical on Thursday night. His search is on. At the same time, local people protested over the burning of e-waste. Loni MLA Nandkishore Gurjar, who reached the spot, listened to the problems of the people and ensured their solution. People say a truck driver reached the field late on Thursday evening and threw bags full of powder from the truck into the field. Seeing the truck driver throwing the knives, the local people reached the spot, caught the truck driver and informed the police. Before the police reached the spot, the truck driver evaded and escaped. After this, the garbage caught fire due to chemicals. People saw the intensity of the fire and notified the fire department. Fire tenders reached the spot and tried to control the fire, but the fire could not be extinguished. When the fire department investigated, it was found that a chemical from the factory had been dumped in the landfill. Fire Chief Rahul Pal said to douse the fire, efforts are being made to bury the chemical in the ground by digging soil by JCB. The fire brigade team is busy with emergency relief work on the spot. There is a delay in extinguishing the fire due to a large amount of chemicals. In this case, local people filed a complaint against the truck driver at the police station. SAP Shalimar Garden Atul Kumar Singh says that the search for the accused truck driver is on. He will be arrested soon. Protests were held over frequent fires. Local people claim that anti-social elements burn e-waste in the area every day. They are upset by the smoke and foul smell coming from the fire. There is vacant land of GDA here.
