Acting on a tip-off received in the morning, soldiers recovered a packet of 569 grams of heroin from the fields of Dhariwal village. The illuminated strip on the package made it clear that it had been dropped from a drone. After this, drone movement was seen near Bharopal village. By activating technical measures, the soldiers seized the drone and 560 grams of heroin. In the third operation, a drone and a package of 546 grams of heroin were found in the village of Bhindi Khurd area. In a search conducted later in the day, troops recovered another drone from the fields of Rornewala Khurd village. BSF spokesperson said that these continuous seizures are proof that Pakistani smugglers are constantly trying to send drugs to India through drones, but the alert soldiers of the Border Security Force and modern technical means are foiling these attempts.
