Jakarta – Golkar Party Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia has instructed Golkar cadres throughout Indonesia to help disaster-affected residents in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra. Bahlil said that she distributed some donations. “From regional reports, the Golkar party helped with disaster management around the affected areas,” says Bahlil in his statement, Sunday (30/11/2025). Bahlil said the Golkar Party DPP distributed IDR 3 billion as initial support for disaster management efforts in the three provinces. He emphasized that this assistance is focused on the most urgent needs of people on the ground. He also asked them to be ready to coordinate volunteers if needed to deal with emergency situations in their respective areas. “This is the time for us to be present for the people, to help with all the abilities we have. Let’s revive the spirit of mutual cooperation,” he said. “From this place, I express my condolences for the death of our brothers and sisters in various areas, in West Sumatra, then in North Sumatra and Aceh due to landslides,” he added. Based on the latest data from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), the number of victims who have died or disappeared due to the flood disaster in Sumatra has increased.
