A serious allegation of kidnapping a minor by luring and physically exploiting her under the pretext of marriage has come to light. The surprising thing is that the accused is already said to be the father of two children. The victim’s maternal uncle filed a written complaint at the Kasmar police station regarding this matter, based on which the police registered a case and investigated. On November 8, 2025, she suddenly went missing from home. After much investigation, the family members came to know that Pramod Kumar Mahato (father: Prakash Mahato), resident of Lahartand, Manjura, lured her away. According to the minor, the accused took her from Bokaro to Tamil Nadu. There he held her hostage in a room and had constant physical relations with her under the pretense of marriage. Later, the victim found out that the accused was already married. When she pressed him for marriage, the accused assaulted her and threatened to kill her. The accused ran away, leaving the minor in the middle of the road. On December 17, 2025, the accused brought the victim back from Tamil Nadu and dropped her on the middle of the road near (Bahadurpur) and himself fled on the bike. The victim somehow reached her home crying and informed her family members about the entire incident. Taking the case seriously, Kasmar Police Station Commandant Kundan Kumar has registered the case and is continuously conducting raids to arrest the accused. The station in charge said that strict legal action will be taken against the accused. At the same time, the next of kin also appealed to the police administration to get strict punishment for the accused.
