ACB had earlier revealed that Vinay Chaubey bought 20 decimal land and a house in Ashok Nagar for his father-in-law Satyendra Nath Trivedi for Rs 3 crore. Blair Apartment flat conveyed by ‘Gift Deed’ This flat is in Blair Apartment situated on Main Road, Ranchi. Swapna Sanchita bought this flat in her name in the year 2008 for Rs 28 lakh. It was also learned that Vinay Kumar Choubey’s family lived in this apartment for a long time. In the year 2021, Swapna Sanchita gifted this flat to her father-in-law Devendra Chaubey. Ownership was transferred in May 2021 by Deed of Gift No. 2863 transferred to Devendra Chaubey. ACB is now collecting information about how and from where the amount (Rs 28 lakh) used for the said flat was paid. The investigating agency is probing whether the purpose of these transactions was to launder disproportionate assets. Liquor scam: Close Vinay Singh to be questioned again. ACB, which is probing the case, will re-interrogate Vinay Singh, an auto businessman close to suspended IAS officer Vinay Kumar Choubey. Vinay Singh is currently lodged in the central jail Hazaribagh in the forest land scam case. ACB is also looking for his wife Snigdha Singh. ACB once again prepared to question Vinay Singh in the liquor scam case.
