Mumbai, November 30 (IANS). Actress Shefali Shah has worked in many such films in her career, touching the hearts of the audience, be it ‘Juice’, ‘Jalsa’ or ‘Three of Us’. Among these, her film ‘Monsoon Wedding’, in which Riya’s character changed the lives of many women. Actually, in this film, actress Shefali Shah played the character of Riya Verma, who was a victim of sexual abuse in her childhood. Recalling the film, the actress posted a video on Instagram, in which she wrote, “During the filming of the film ‘Monsoon Wedding’, the entire cast and crew were like one big family. We did yoga and breakfast together in the morning and later had an acting workshop with Naseeruddin Shah. In the afternoon, director Mira Nair used us to work on different plays directed by the Golden Lion. Before leaving, the man told me, ‘They also suffered the same pain that Riya faced. Because of you, they got the courage to express their views after years. Shefali writes, “I often thought that I am not a doctor, lawyer or scientist is not.
