Jakarta – The family said they received the results of the DNA test on the discovery of the skeleton of the suspected boy Alvaro Kiano (6), who had been missing since last March. The family said they were informed that the skeleton belonged to Alvaro. “It seems so, because our family is so informed,” said Alvaro’s mother, Arum Indah, as reported by Antara, Thursday (4/12/2025). He said that his party will take the body directly to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta. Next, he said, the body will be buried immediately. Similar information was also relayed by Alvaro’s grandfather, Tugimin, who said that the results of the DNA test were relayed to the family by the police on Wednesday (3/12) afternoon. “Yes, the police chief told me this afternoon,” says Tugimin. The plan is that Alvaro will be buried in the Waqf land of Jami Al Muflihun Mosque Bintaro, South Jakarta. Since the discovery of Alvaro’s body, the family has asked for a burial site to be prepared, which was then taken to the National Police Hospital (NS) on Sunday (23/11). Local cemetery officials have also prepared a small plot that is 120 centimeters (cm) long or the size of a 1st grade elementary school child’s grave, while they await the DNA test results and completeness of the victim’s body parts. It is known that Alvaro’s body was thrown into the Cerewed River under the Cilalay Bridge, Bogor Regency, after the boy was reported missing for eight months. The perpetrator of Alvaro’s kidnapping and murder was his stepfather and Arum’s ex-husband, Alex Iskandar (49). Meanwhile, the police revealed that Alex was found dead on Sunday (23/11) morning, suspected to have committed suicide, in the South Jakarta Metro Police’s counseling room. Alex was found hanging himself not long after he was arrested and detained by the police. The police found Alvaro, who had been missing since March 2025 in Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, dead and arrested Alex on Wednesday evening (19/11). The police also disclosed the motive for Alvaro’s murder, namely because his stepfather was jealous of his wife.
