An offer of Rs 2.9 crore was received from a multinational company on the very first day. More than two dozen students accepted the offers received. Official figures will only be released after this, but information received from students has shown that multinational companies have made a good start this time compared to previous years. A computer science student got a package of Rs 2.9 crore. The international packages available to students have also increased this time. However, a reduction in total jobs is estimated due to the US President’s tariff and visa rules. More than 400 companies from around the world are said to be participating in the employment drive. In addition to offline, students are also interviewed through online medium. Major companies coming in campus placements include companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Zomato, Oracle, BPCL. This year, more than one thousand students registered themselves in the employment campaign.
