According to the rules, customers whose flights are canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time will receive compensation ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000, depending on the block time of the flight. The compensation will be sent directly in the original payment mode while the travel voucher will be sent to the passenger’s registered email. Those who buy tickets from travel agents will also get compensation from the same channel. IndiGo regretfully admitted that many passengers traveling on 3, 4 and 5 December 2025 were stranded for hours at various airports and faced great inconvenience due to heavy crowding.
