The effect of cold began to increase in the capital. Talking about the weather in the last 24 hours, the weather remained dry in the entire state. The highest maximum temperature was 29.8 degrees Celsius in Chaibasa, while the lowest minimum temperature was 10.3 degrees Celsius in Gumla. Whereas, if we talk about the capital Ranchi, the maximum was recorded at 25.8 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 13.4 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, in the forecast issued by Meteorological Center Ranchi, it has been said that the minimum temperature in the northwestern region of the state i.e. Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra and Latehar may drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. As a result, the effect of cold will increase and people will have to take special care of their health. Due to cloudy skies, the effect of cold will be reduced, but the minimum temperature will decrease during the next four days. After which the effect of cold will increase and due to the west wind coming from the northwest region, the intensity will also increase. Due to the increasing effects of cold, the problems of school going children have also increased. Doctor advised to stay safe. RIMS doctor dr. Vikas Kumar said that in the increasing cold, just walking in the morning sun is beneficial. Evening walks should be avoided due to increased cold and pollution. He said to stay away from cold, eat nutritious food and keep the body hydrated. Get regular exercise, but avoid early morning walks, especially if you have heart or lung disease. Go for a walk in bright sunlight or in the evening instead. If any symptoms of any illness appear, consult a doctor immediately. He said wearing warm clothes keeps the skin hydrated and protects the skin from drying out. Enjoy the sunshine for vitamin D in your diet and eat nutritious and seasonal foods to boost your immunity. Dry fruits such as almonds, walnuts and raisins are beneficial. Exercise regularly, but avoid going out very early in the morning and in very cold weather. If you have any illness, start exercising only after consulting your doctor. Get enough sleep, 7-8 hours every night, and use techniques like meditation or deep breathing to manage stress. Stay away from sick people, wash your hands often and avoid touching your face. Heart patients should take special care in cold. Do not stop the medicine without doctor’s advice and avoid eating more than usual. Patients suffering from breathing problems like asthma, COPD etc. should not go out very early in the morning. If symptoms such as cough, cold or fever occur, consult a doctor immediately instead of taking traditional remedies at home.
