The matter became more complicated as the Devasthan Department announced the formation of a new executive despite the ban on the election process. One side calls it illegal, calls it a violation of rules, while the other side claims its formation in terms of the legislation. The controversy regarding the elections of the world famous Shri Shyam Temple Committee located at Khatushyamji is constantly deepening, despite the Devasthan Department banning the election process with immediate effect, the temple committee has announced the formation of a new executive. This incident sparked a heated debate between the temple management, administration and devotees. At the same time, allegations of disregard for laws and rules have also come to light. In fact, the Devasthan Department recently issued an order clarifying that preparations are underway for the annual Phalgun fair in Shri Shyam Temple and that it is not appropriate to hold elections during this time. The department directed that elections should be held in a legal manner only after the completion of the fair under the Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959 and the Trust Act. This order was issued following complaints from several members of the temple committee, including the current chairman Prithvi Singh Chauhan. It was alleged in the complaint that in the meeting held on November 9, the decision to hold elections on March 4 was taken with the consent of only 6 members without the required quorum and majority. First side: Election process is illegal President Prithvi Singh Chauhan and his supporters say that the formation of a new executive despite the orders of the Devasthan department is a direct violation of the rules. They argue that this entire process is neither transparent nor in accordance with the trust law. He also says that such a decision, amid preparations for the fair, may affect the arrangements of the temple and create confusion among the devotees. He demanded intervention from the administration and strict implementation of departmental orders. On the other hand, the newly formed executive and the officials associated with it claim that this formation was done by the general assembly under Article 6 of the Constitution of Shri Shyam Mandir Committee. According to the public letter issued, 7 members of the General Assembly were declared elected, after which Shakti Singh Chauhan was elected as President, Manvendra Singh Chauhan as Minister and Ravi Singh Chauhan as Treasurer. He says this whole process was done according to internal rules and there is no irregularity in it. At present, because of this whole controversy, the Khatushyamji Temple Committee seems to be divided into two distinct groups, on one side the demand is being raised to follow the orders of the Devasthan Department, while on the other side the new executive is emerging and legitimizing its establishment.
