NIA said in a statement that the agency is still looking for various leads in connection with the suicide bombing. So far, 7 people have been arrested in the explosion case near the Red Fort on May 10. New Delhi. A Delhi court on Saturday sent three doctors and a cleric arrested in the Red Fort blast case to 10-day judicial custody. All four accused – Muzammil Ganai, Adeel Rather and Shaheena Saeed along with Maulvi Irfan Ahmed Wagay were produced before Principal and Justice Anju Bajaj Chandna, who sent all four to judicial custody for 10 days. So far, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested seven accused in the case, which is linked to a ‘white collar’ terror module busted by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. The NIA said in a statement: “The agency continues to search for various leads in connection with the suicide bombing and is conducting search operations in various states in collaboration with the relevant police forces to identify and trace other persons involved in this barbaric attack.” On November 10, there was an explosion in an explosives-laden i20 car outside the Red Fort, which was reported by dr. Omar-un-Nabi was managed. The agency had earlier arrested two other accused in the same case. The arrested accused include Aamir Rashid Ali, in whose name the car used in the blast was registered, and Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, who provided technical assistance to the terrorist. Interrogation of these two accused is going on and NIA is investigating this whole terror module thoroughly. The investigation into the attack was handed over to the NIA by the Central Ministry of Home Affairs. Since then, the agency, in collaboration with the police of various states, has been working swiftly to track down every member associated with this module and bring him to justice. NIA says that it is constantly trying to uncover the entire layers of this gruesome terrorist conspiracy and reach its mastermind.
