Mumbai, November 26 (IANS). Social media influencer Orhan Avatramani alias Ori on Wednesday reached the Ghatkopar unit of Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Mumbai Crime Branch in the much talked about Rs 252 crore drug case. Ori was summoned for questioning in the drug case, after which he reached the office on time. The Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Police has issued a second summons to Ori in connection with the investigation of this major drug case. The first summons was sent on November 20, but Ori said he would not be available until November 25. Following this, ANC issued a second summons on 21 November and ordered him to appear at the Ghatkopar unit on 26 November. Ori got there on time on Wednesday. After this, the process of recording his statement began. Apart from Ori, summons has also been issued to actor Shakti Kapoor’s son, Siddhant Kapoor. Siddhant recorded his statement on 25 November. According to a senior police officer, information related to the two was disclosed in the statements of the main accused. The drug case worth Rs 252 crore started from March last year. In the Sangli district of Maharashtra, the police busted an illegal factory manufacturing Mephedrone drugs. During this action, a large quantity of drugs was recovered, the value of which in the foreign market was around Rs 252 crore. Investigation revealed that the factory owners are the prime accused Suhail Shaikh and Tahir Dola. Both of them used to organize rave parties in India and abroad.
