Due to active northwesterly winds in Rajasthan, sharp temperature fluctuations were seen on Tuesday. In most of the districts of the state, the maximum day temperature was recorded below 30 degrees Celsius. Cold winds increased the chill in the weather, causing cold wave-like conditions to form in the mornings and evenings. At the same time, a significant drop in minimum temperature was also seen in Shekhawati and Bikaner divisions. According to the Meteorological Department, this change will have further effects. Meteorologists say that Western Disturbance will be active in Rajasthan from November 27. Because of its effect, the weather will change in many parts of the state. It is estimated that this system will be more effective in the areas of Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur and Jodhpur divisions. During this period there is also a possibility of light rain or drizzle in some places. This period of rain may continue for two days, due to which the temperature is likely to drop further. The effect of cold is increasing rapidly in the Shekhawati region. Fatehpur in Sikar district recorded a drop of 2 degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature. On Wednesday, the minimum temperature here dropped from 4.5 degrees Celsius to 2.5 degrees. As a result, the local people began to experience severe cold. People began to resort to bonfires in the morning and evening. In view of the increasing impact of cold, normal life is also affected. A decrease in daytime temperature was also recorded in other major cities, including the capital Jaipur. While until a few days ago there was less need for warm clothes, now people have started taking out warm clothes due to the daytime temperature below 30 degrees Celsius in all the cities. Due to increasing moisture in the air and cold breeze, a situation of dense fog may also occur in the morning. The Meteorological Department estimates that at the beginning of December the cold will increase rapidly. Also, in the event of snowfall in the hilly areas, the icy winds coming from northern India may bring down the temperature further in Rajasthan. Experts have advised farmers to be aware of this weather change, so that crops can be protected from possible damage. Share this story Tags
