New Delhi, December 8 (IANS). There will be a special discussion in the Lok Sabha on Monday on the completion of 150 years of the national anthem ‘Vande Mataram’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start the debate at 12 noon on Monday. Ahead of the Parliament proceedings, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said that the topic of the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram song will be discussed in detail. Talking to IANS, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said, “According to the decision of the Business Advisory Committee, the country is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the song ‘Vande Mataram’ on December 8. In this regard, there will be a discussion on this occasion in the Lok Sabha on Monday and it will continue in the Rajya Me Aranwhile Megh.
