Bihar Elections: Grand alliance declares Tejashwi as CM, Mukesh Sahni as Deputy CM face

Patna, October 23 (IANS). The Grand Alliance on Thursday declared Tejashwi Yadav as the Chief Ministerial candidate for the Bihar Assembly elections. Mukesh Sahni was also selected as the Deputy Chief Minister candidate. In the joint press conference of the Grand Alliance, former Rajasthan Chief Minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot said that all the parties involved in this alliance have decided that if the Grand Alliance government is formed, Tejashwi Yadav will be the chief minister and VIP chief Mukesh Sahni will become the deputy chief minister. He also said that other deputy chief ministers will also be made on the basis of social comparisons. The Congress leader also asked the NDA to declare the face of the chief minister. He said that the NDA will also have to announce its chief ministerial face. In the last elections we could not form the government because of few seats. This time we are going into the election field with full force. The Congress leader said that the people of Bihar want change. Not only Bihar, the condition of the entire country is bad. Accusing the BJP of influencing the elections through money power, he said that their model is different in the elections of each state and they are going to the election field through the same model. BJP wants to gain power by making false promises and making false allegations against the opposition. Today, unemployment has increased in Bihar. Students, youth, farmers, women and common people are upset. Let us tell you that the first phase of the Bihar assembly election will be held on November 6 and the second phase on November 11. While the counting of votes will take place on November 14.
