Bigg Boss 19: Abhishek Bajaj writes sweet note to Ashnoor Kaur after her eviction, calls her his ‘sukoon’

Just hours after the eviction of Ashnoor Kaur from Bigg Boss 19, former contestant Abhishek Bajaj reunited with her and took to social media with a deeply emotional message. Abhishek Bajaj writes a heartfelt letter to Ashnoor Kaur Besides hot pictures of their meeting, he wrote, “In a house full of chaos, you became my calm. In a room full of energy vampires, you became my energy charger. You were my sukoon. You came with courage, played with dignity and left with love. Ash is grateful for every moment we felt personally… Jab jab Chand Taaro ka Zikra hoga Humara bhi Zikra hoga (sic).” Fans react to the post Abhishek and Ashnoor fans and supporters were quick to react to the post. One fan wrote: “First abhinoor post and I’m not going over it soon and his caption 😭😭 plus he used abhinoor tag makes us feel special. The way both respect and adore eo and I’m so glad I worship the best people (sic).” Another person said, “Dono ko sath me dekh ke sukun mila (sic).” Why was Ashnoor evicted? Ashnoor’s eviction stemmed from a violent incident during the show’s recent “ticket to final” task. According to show producers and host Salman Khan, he hit fellow contestant Tanya Mittal with a wooden plank – a violation of the show’s zero-tolerance policy on physical violence. Despite Ashnoor’s claim that she had no intention of hurting Tanya, the evidence shown to the housemates indicated otherwise. This decision came just a week before the grand finale of the season, shocking viewers and igniting a social media firestorm. Ashnoor himself broke down emotionally after the announcement, visibly distressed as host Salman Khan delivered the verdict. Abhishek Bajaj was previously evicted from the show in a double elimination along with another contestant, following a surprise move by Pranit More – who used his special power to save Ashnoor over Abhishek and another nominee, Neelam Giri. In a recent interview, Abhishek said, “I really feel I have given the show a lot, more than my 100 percent.” He admitted that he was not hurt by his eviction, but by the fact that one had to go under him and Ashnoor – ending what fans had become attached to as a strong alliance. Social media users and fans poured in support for both Ashnoor and Abhishek. Many criticized the show’s handling of the incident, while others praised Abhishek’s loyalty and genuine gesture. The sudden eviction – so close to the finals – also sparked speculation about how the remaining contestants will regroup and whether the dynamic will change with Ashnoor out of the race.

Bar patrons are raising a glass to Idaho’s Old State Saloon after the local bar went viral with a controversial offer: “free beer for one month” to anyone who helps Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) identify and deport an undocumented immigrant. The salon’s series of tweets included playful and provocative messages. One read: “Merry Snitchmas! Snitch on illegals and get a month of free beer!” Another added: “Let’s make deportation fun!!” The bar also provided instructions for claiming the reward: “If you want to claim your free beer, send a detailed email with any evidence, photos, videos, summary of events, dates and times, etc. to: [email protected].” The promotion even extended to self-deporting individuals. “Any illegal looking to self deport can have one free beer before ICE responds to Old State Saloon to pick you up. 12 villages in North Tapanuli are still isolated, logistics are running out

Jakarta – North Tapanuli (Taput) Regent Jonius Taripar Parsaoran Hutabarat revealed that 12 villages in two North Tapanuli sub-districts are still completely isolated after being hit by floods. These two sub-districts currently have no road access, electricity or communication. “So in the Parmonangan district there are two places, then in Adiankoting there are also two places. And if you take it down, there are about 12 villages,” Jonius said on Sunday (11/30/2025) at the Disaster Management Coordination Meeting in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra. “Several villages have completely lost contact. There are no roads, the electricity is off, there is no communication. This is our fifth day of working with the TNI and Polri,” he continued. PAGE TO CONTINUE CONTENT The two worst affected sub-districts were Parmonangan and Adiankoting, areas directly bordering the Central Tapanuli Regency. Damage to the link road paralyzed the only access to Central Tapanuli and South Tapanuli. “The only access to Central Tapanuli is from Taput. The only road that has been opened reaches kilometer 30 out of a total of 38 kilometers,” he explained. Jonius also emphasized that the logistical conditions in isolated villages are increasingly critical. Residents can only be reached on foot in eight hours, while land assistance makes it impossible to enter. “Our hope is that assistance for isolated villages will be provided by air. In total there are four points, two in Parmonangan and two in Adiankoting. Collectively it covers about 12 villages,” he said. Meanwhile, he also reported that about 175 houses were lost or seriously damaged, plus 200 other houses were damaged. His party also plans to move residential areas to safer hilly areas. “Current settlement locations are no longer possible. But for resettlement we need regulations because we have to use state forests,” he added. (wnv/wnv)

Preserving local culture, BRI supports Siger Batik to continue to develop

Preserving local culture, BRI supports Siger Batik to continue to develop

Jakarta – In a batik house in a corner of Bandar Lampung city, the creative hands of craftsmen are playing on a piece of cloth. Amidst this busy life, Laila Al Khusna has become a true figure that reflects today’s empowered women. He is the founder of Batik Siger who has been weaving the spirit of empowerment and cultural preservation through typical Lampung batik cloth for over a decade. This helped foster Laila’s love of Indonesian literature. When UNESCO designated batik as Indonesia’s cultural heritage in 2009, his enthusiasm was even stronger. In addition, the regional government calls for each province to have distinctive batik as mandatory clothing for ASN and BUMN. “I saw the opportunity. But at that time there were no batik manufacturers in Lampung because the majority came from Java,” he said, quoted from a press release, Sunday (11/30/2025). Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT Using the knowledge inherited from her parents, Laila founded the Siger Batik Course and Training Institute in 2008. From there, the embryo of Siger Batik was born and grew into one of Lampung’s cultural icons. He wants Lampung batik to be made by the hands of the Lampung people themselves. Laila admitted that the initial journey was not easy. At first it was difficult for him to get participants because he visited RTs, sub-districts and groups of social meeting women, but no one wanted until finally someone showed interest. “My main motivation is that parents’ knowledge will benefit society, especially in Lampung, and can increase the dignity of the region,” he said. Now many alumni have successfully established their own batik businesses. He is proud because Batik Siger not only creates craftsmen, but also opens up new economic avenues for the community. Batik Siger is here with the mission to introduce the beauty of Lampung culture through its motifs. About 80% of its sales are in Lampung, while the rest reach various regions in Indonesia via e-commerce. Batik Siger not only empowers the community but is also known for its environmentally friendly concept. Laila tries to apply the zero-waste concept by using leftover fabric to make other products. He explained that around 70% of production uses natural dyes, while a waste filtration system for synthetic dyes has been implemented so that waste water remains neutral. He added that they try as much as possible to reduce the use of synthetic dyes to protect the environment, and have a waste absorption system so that wasted water does not pollute the environment. This commitment led to Batik Siger winning the Upakarti Award in 2014 for its positive impact on the environment and society. Laila admits that the development of Siger Batik cannot be separated from the role of the BRI BUMN Rumah program. He said that he first became acquainted with Rumah BUMN BRI because of an appeal from the regional government for MSMEs in Lampung to participate in a coaching program for the development of their businesses. “So I started being active at Rumah BUMN BRI a long time ago, maybe around 2011 or 2012. I also assisted with the MSMEs assisted by BRI. At that time, we were told to stock products at the airport. Then I joined the WhatsApp group to share knowledge,” he said. He admitted that he felt many benefits since joining Rumah BUMN BRI for the progress of Siger Batik. Through Rumah BUMN BRI, he was taught how to manage, manage marketing strategies so that products are in demand, the implementation of digital marketing and the use of e-commerce. Apart from that, when the company lacks funds, he is also taught how to borrow from the bank, understand the procedures and know the positive and negative risks. All these, according to him, aim to strengthen the capabilities of MSME players. He believes that the BRI BUMN Rumah program is very good for the development of MSMEs, and all the knowledge he has gained is always applied in his company. Laila emphasized that the role and support of this program is very big and really helps MSMEs like them to progress to class. In a separate event, BRI’s Micro Director Akhmad Purwakajaya said that BRI continues to show real commitment to assist MSMEs so that they can advance to class and continue to develop through empowerment programs such as Rumah BUMN BRI. BRI not only provides access to capital, but also coaching, business assistance and the opening of opportunities for market networks and globally. “This strategy is in line with BRI’s efforts to strengthen the MSME ecosystem in Indonesia. With a combination of literacy, digitization and facilitating access, MSMEs are expected to increase their competitiveness while creating added value in the market,” he emphasized. (prf/ega)

Cross-Agency Cooperation, PLN accelerates Aceh’s electricity restoration

Jakarta – Efforts to restore Aceh’s electricity after the flash flood and landslide disaster continue to be accelerated by cross-sector cooperation. The central government, Aceh Provincial Government (Pemprov), TNI, Polri and PLN are working together to ensure that emergency management is effective so that electricity services can be quickly restored to affected communities. The Indonesian Minister of Defense (Menhan) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin stressed that the distribution of logistical aid will be deployed, as many areas are still isolated and really need help. “The government’s main priority at the moment is to support logistics for the community, from food, personal needs such as clothes, to medicine. All aid will be distributed to affected points with the help of TNI defense equipment,” says Sjafrie in a written statement, Sunday (30/11/2025). SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Sjafrie also emphasized that the acceleration of electricity restoration is an urgent need for affected communities. Sjafrie appreciated PLN’s quick steps in the field, while encouraging the recovery process to continue to be optimized. “The first step is to strengthen air mobility. We will concentrate all logistics,” said Sjafrie. “Electricity must be turned on immediately in a short time. We will increase helicopter power. Land and air evacuation must be accelerated,” he continued. Indonesian Interior Minister (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian has also shown support to speed up Aceh’s recovery by sending a special team to the affected areas to help speed up handling. He emphasized the importance of stabilizing public services, including electricity services for the community. “The need for electricity is very crucial. We together with the regional government, TNI, Polri and PLN continue to accelerate restoration to ensure that affected communities can enjoy electricity services immediately,” said Tito. In line, Darmawan Prasodjo, president of PLN, said that his party continues to mobilize the best resources and personnel from units across Indonesia to restore the electricity network in the affected areas. Darmawan also continues to work with all parties to encourage the acceleration of post-disaster electricity recovery in Aceh. “We received instructions from the President that all PLN forces must be mobilized to help with disaster recovery, both flash floods and landslides that occurred in Aceh. For this reason, according to the President’s directions, we are all working together,” said Darmawan. In the recovery process, PLN continues to cooperate with the Aceh Provincial Government, the Iskandar Muda Regional Military Command (Kodam), the Sultan Iskandar Muda Air Force (AU) Base, the Aceh Regional Police (Polda), and the Aceh Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) under the leadership of the central government. One of the decisive steps was to send emergency tower units from Jakarta to Banda Aceh with the Indonesian Air Force’s Hercules aircraft. Apart from that, several units were also transported by land and sea with the support of the Indonesian Army (AD) and Police ranks. Darmawan expressed his appreciation to the National Police for helping ensure smooth communication amid network outages. From a logistical perspective, the TNI AD facilitates the delivery of materials using trucks and opens access to affected areas that are still almost impossible to pass. In fact, helicopters were deployed to transport tower materials to points that were impossible to reach by land. “We had to use a helicopter to bring materials to the site. There was a helipad that needed to be opened, and there were troops from the TNI and Police helping,” said Darmawan. “This solidarity is a great force to accelerate recovery,” he continued. Not only infrastructure repair, humanitarian support is also collected. Command posts, public kitchens and other support facilities were built together as a form of inter-agency solidarity. “All components of Indonesia’s forces are moving together. With the fighting spirit of the PLN team, Regional Government, TNI, Polri and the community, we feel extraordinary unity,” said Darmawan. “May Allah SWT make all these efforts easier, so that Aceh can recover quickly,” he concluded.
