ED’s new strategy in National Herald case, Delhi police files FIR against Rahul-Sonia – ed new strategy in National Herald case, Delhi police files fir against rahul sonia

By niloo ranjan Edited by: Prince Gourh Updated: Sun, 30 Nov 2025 08:30 (IST) Delhi Police has registered a fresh FIR on the complaint of ED in the National Herald case. This step was taken to reduce reliance on Subramanian Swamy’s complaint. ED has already filed charge sheet against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. According to the directives of the Supreme Court, the police have been asked to investigate when evidence of money laundering is found. ED accused Young India of money laundering of Rs 88 crore. Delhi Police registered FIR against Rahul-Sonia (File photo) Neelu Ranjan, Jagran. New Delhi. Delhi Police registered a fresh FIR on October 3 as part of its strategy to expedite the disposal of the National Herald case, which has been stuck in the lower court for the past 11 years, and to end pendency of Subramanian Swamy’s complaint. Remove Advertisement Read Only News The FIR of the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police is based on the complaint of ED. Even if Subramanian Swamy withdraws his complaint after the FIR is registered by Delhi Police, there will be no impact on the money laundering case. Charge-sheet filed against Sonia-Rahul: It is to be noted that ED filed a charge-sheet against Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and others in this case on April 9. According to highly placed sources, ED has written a letter to Delhi Police to file a fresh complaint based on the Supreme Court’s September 16 decision. While delivering the verdict in the Vijay Madanlal case related to Chhattisgarh liquor scam, the Supreme Court made it clear that after finding evidence of money laundering during the investigation, the ED should ask the police to conduct a criminal investigation. Proving the need for a fresh FIR, ED cited the money laundering of around Rs 88 crore by Young India and Associate Journal in 2017-18. According to ED, it was taken in the name of false advertisement, false rent and donation. There will be no impact on the case, there is no mention of this in Subramanian Swamy’s complaint. In fact, for ED to investigate money laundering, an FIR from another investigating agency is needed. Till now, the ED case was based only on the complaint of Subramanian Swamy and the notice taken by the Patiala House Court. Obviously, even if the owner withdraws the complaint, there will be no impact on the money laundering case. On the other hand, there were doubts about the role of Subramanian Swamy in the slow pace of hearing this case in the Patiala House Court. According to a senior officer, it is surprising that the statements of witnesses have not been recorded in 11 years and the ED does not want its money laundering case to be based on hard evidence on Subramanian Swamy’s complaint. The same people accused in the Delhi Police FIR are the ones accused in the ED charge sheet. These include Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Suman Dubey, Sam Pitroda, Associated Journal, Young India, Dotex Merchandise, Sunil Bhandari and others. Delhi Police will file charge sheet. According to sources, ED has investigated this entire case in depth and handed over all the evidence and statements of witnesses to the Delhi Police. After this, Delhi Police will not take much time to complete the investigation. Delhi Police is expected to file its charge sheet in this case soon. However, Rouselaan court fixed December 16 as the date to give judgment on the issue of taking cognizance of ED’s charge sheet.

Watch the video: A major accident was averted in Dungarpur, a woman from a teacher’s family who was drowning in the car saved her life.

A unique example of human courage and readiness was seen in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan. The family of a government teacher here returned from the clutches of death on Tuesday morning. All this was possible because of the courageous step of a 35-year-old woman, who saved three lives by jumping into the water without any delay. According to the information, second grade teacher Nathulal Yadav, resident of Dungarpur, was on his way to Banswara with his wife and 11-month-old son for a marriage ceremony. As they neared Herota village, their car suddenly went out of control and fell into a pit of about 10 feet deep water on the side of the road. In no time, the car began to sink into water and the life of the entire family was in danger. During this time, a woman named Surta who lives in the same area saw the incident up close. Without any fear, he immediately jumped into the water. Surta first pulled the innocent child out safely, then with the help of the neighboring youth and her own daughter Ayushi, pulled the man and woman out of the water. While this scene of courage on one hand set an example to save lives, on the other hand the regrettable aspect was that many people present at the spot just kept making videos but did not come forward to help. Local people immediately informed the police and after the accident first aid was given to the family. According to doctors, a major accident was averted as all three were taken out in time and everyone’s condition is now normal. Surta became an example of bravery. Local villagers and administration appreciated Surta’s courage. Villagers say if Surta had not acted immediately, the incident could have turned into a heartbreaking accident. Courage shown in time saved a family from destruction. This selfless effort of Surta presents the true image of humanity. Share this story Tags

Hulsi Devi got victory after 12 years of legal battle, know in the video. Went to daughter’s wedding, neighbors took over the house.

A woman resident of Abu Road in Sirohi district fought a court battle for 12 years to get back the rights over her own land and house. During this period he had to struggle on many fronts ranging from society to law. Finally, the Rajasthan High Court ruled in their favour, dismissed the appeal of the residents and ordered them to vacate the house immediately and pay the compensation. This case is such an example of a long struggle for justice that anyone would be shocked to read it. This is the story of Hulsi Devi, who locked herself out of the house for a few days on 19 July 2011 in connection with her daughter’s marriage. But when she returned, she found that the locks of her house had been broken and that some people from the neighborhood had taken possession inside. When Hulsi Devi requested them to vacate her house, they flatly refused. Not only this, the perpetrators showed their dominance by taking a unilateral restraining order from the court against Hulsi Devi’s husband. As a result, the victim’s family got into even more trouble. After this, the real fight for justice began. Hulsi Devi resorted to legal remedies and filed a case in the lower court. On the basis of ongoing hearings and evidence, the lower court ruled in favor of the victim’s wife and ordered the occupants to vacate the house. But the accused did not stop here. He challenged this order in the High Court and tried to get the decision reversed. The case continued in court for more than 12 years. During this period, Hulsi Devi and her family went through many problems mentally, socially and financially. Finally, the bench of Justice Kuldeep Mathur of the Rajasthan High Court heard the entire case in detail. The court clearly said that the occupants did not have any valid documents or rights, they occupied the woman’s house illegally. The court upheld the lower court’s decision and dismissed the appeal. The court ordered the occupants to vacate the house immediately and also pay compensation to Hulsi Devi. The decision is not just for property, victory for rights. This decision is not only a sigh of relief for Hulsi Devi but also sets an example for many people who are suffering due to bullying and wrongful possession. Share this story Tags
