In such a situation, the most serious problem facing the government and administration is the parking of vehicles on the motor routes connecting the accessible stops. Rs 42.39 lakh for parking of 85 two-wheelers and four-wheelers in Nauti, Rs 5.59 lakh for temporary parking of 88 vehicles near Government Polytechnic Kulsari in Tharali, Rs 71.56 lakh for rest house near Shaheed Bhawanidutt Inter College in Cheprad and parking of eight vehicles. Rest house at Sarkot in Dewal and parking of seventy two wheelers and large vehicles worth Rs. 115.21 lakh, temporary parking of 43 vehicles at Kansuwa in Gairsan, temporary parking of 94 vehicles at Bhagwati in Narayanbagad worth Rs. 79.56 lakh has been sanctioned from TAC. Approval of Rs 765.63 lakh has been received by the Technical Evaluation Committee for parking of vehicles at the stops under Nandadevi Rajjat, while the documents for approval for the works at Dewal’s Sarkot have been sent to higher officials. After the approval of the funds, work will be done according to rules at the selected places, so that the visiting passengers can get the facility of rest house and parking of vehicles on time and the residents of the area can benefit from the permanent parking that is being prepared.
