After Srinagar PHC, now dozens of patients in Rupauli Referral Hospital were not even provided beds after sterilization on Monday. Everyone was made to lie down on the floor. As soon as the civil surgeon in charge received information about this, he asked to send the team to the referral hospital. Remove Only Advertisement Read News These types of cases have also come to light in the past, but the hospital management and the medical officer in charge get a clean head, that’s why such negligence continues to emerge. Just four days ago, 28 sterilization surgeries were performed in Srinagar PHC, where patients were not even provided beds. A team has also been formed to investigate him. No action has been taken against anyone in the case so far. On Monday, the department was again exposed at Rupauli Referral Hospital, when sterilization operations of dozens of women were done simultaneously by the doctors there and the beneficiary was left on the floor. It is a big question why sterilization operations are not done in the same proportion as the resources available in the referral hospital. In order to reach the target, the lives of patients are played in the hospital. Despite the rule to order beds and mattresses from outside, the hospital management made no arrangements. Awaiting the investigation report in Srinagar PHC: On December 11, sterilization surgery was also performed in Srinagar PHC. After this, women were made to lie on the floor due to a lack of beds. All are provided beds late at night. In that case, a team of district health committee medical officers was constituted. Waiting for that report. In the letter that was issued, it was also acknowledged that such an incident is shameful and inhumane behavior. The team includes Dr. RP Mandal, District Carrier Communicable Disease Control Officer, Dr KM Das, Medical Officer in Charge, Kasba and Dr Dinesh Kumar, District Communicable Disease Officer. The civil surgeon directed the team to submit the inquiry report in the related (Srinagar PHC) case within three days. The letter was issued on December 12. Now the case of Rupauli Referral Hospital has come to light. The hospital is different, but the story is the same. Departmental insensitivity and inhuman attitude is the same in all hospitals. In this matter, when an attempt was made to contact the Rupauli Referral Hospital Dr. Neeraj to speak, he did not pick up the phone. The mismanagement of the Rupauli Hospital has been exposed once again. Money is provided for temporary shed. If there is shortage of room in the hospital for the beneficiary during sterilization operation, then money is provided by the government for a temporary shed. There is a provision to give Rs 10 thousand to 15 beneficiaries. There is a provision of additional funds from the government for all the works including mobilization. Such incidents due to mismanagement have disgraced humanity. Information about the case has been received. The team was immediately sent to the Rupauli referral hospital so that necessary steps can be taken after assessing the situation. Something can only be said after the report of the team. – Dr. Krishna Mohan Das, Civil Surgeon in charge.

Big offer and low package! In IPL, foreign players get less amount than the bid, know what is the reason and rules?

Big offer and low package! In IPL, foreign players get less amount than the bid, know what is the reason and rules?

The mini-auction for players for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 will take place in Abu Dhabi on December 16 (Tuesday). There is a lot of discussion before the mini-auction about one rule that applies to foreign players. According to IPL Board of Control rules, no foreign player can earn more than ₹18 crore in the mini-auction, even if a franchise team bids higher. This means that even if the bid exceeds ₹18 crore, the foreign player will get only that amount. This rule was first implemented in the mega auction of IPL 2025 and has now been extended to the mini auction. Its purpose is to maintain financial discipline and prevent excessive bidding in mini-auctions. For example, even if Australian star all-rounder Cameron Green gets a bid of ₹30 crore, his IPL salary will still be only ₹18 crore. The remaining ₹12 crore will go to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Players Welfare Fund. However, the franchise team will have to pay the entire ₹30 crore from its own purse. For the mini-auction, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have the biggest purse, with ₹64.3 crore, while five-time champions, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have ₹43.6 crore. Despite huge funds in their purse, no team can pay more than ₹18 crore to a foreign player. This rule only applies to foreign players; Indian players are entitled to receive the entire bid amount even if it is more than ₹18 crore. Rishabh Pant was the most expensive player in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Pant was bought by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for ₹27 crore and he received his full salary. Pant remains the most expensive player in IPL history. Share this story Tags
